Today I was given a fitbit charge 2 from a friend who got it over 6 months ago from college. He had told me that it would not turn on, even when charged for a long time when he received it, but because I have had one previously, I thought I could get it to work and maybe it just wasn't compatible with his device. However, that is not the case. It has been on charge for over 8 hours and it is still unusable. When I put it on charge there was no vibration, no green light, no sign of life basically. I have plugged it both into a wall, into my ps4 and into my laptop and still nothing. Even tried the restarting instructions to see if that would work. I have followed instructions of how to clean the charger and the connectors, but still nothing. Does anyone have any advice? Or am I best off finding a device fixing shop to see if there is a further issue? thank you in advance!
