The side button on my Fitbit Charge 3 jammed when I went to sleep and no longer works. I went to 'reset' my Fitbit but it failed to reset since I can't push the button. I tried to wear it while the button was jammed but it stopped recording my heart rate and sleep. It recorded the steps but they were VERY inaccurate, maybe recording 2000 steps in an ENTIRE day. I just decided to ask for help from some friends but they didn't know what to do. How do I fix it?

Hi @SunsetRunner if you're still under warranty, get with support. If you're not, then you can try making it work, since you've nothing to lose. That button is important, as many have discovered. I had a phone where the power button was jammed and used rubbing alcohol and a toothpick to gently clean any debris that was clogging it. It took a bit of time, but it started working again. Not sure if this would help you, but if you're not under warranty, it can't hurt to try.
