I received my Fitbit as a gift and am unable to see the time when I turn my wrist. Am unable to find the packaging from the Fitbit to find information regarding the devise.

Hi @Stan-Foster it is not a flick needed, but a smooth 90° rotation while the wrist is somewhat parallel with the ground. 

As for the user manual, they are online, does not come with the purchase. 

Go to the bottom of the page. 

Tap help 

Tap the picture of your tracker. 

Tap the user manual, or type in a search term and use the online interactive user manual. 

You may also tap the link to help that is found in the fitbit app.

Has your Charge 4 already received the update, announced in the Fitbit app?

If so, please hold the button of your Charge 4 for 3 seconds. 

You'll see the quick settings. 

Make sure that sleep, and don't disturb are off, and screen wake (light bulb) is on . 

To change the settings, just tap on it.
