Welcome to the forums!

First thing I would do is check the time on your computer and phone and make sure its correct.

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

Restart
http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/?q=restart&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1

Then try this

On the computer: Go to the Dashboard and click on the gear and choose settings from the drop down. Scroll down to time zone Change it to s different one. Sync it. Go back in and change it to the correct one and sync again

Phone: Click on account upper top right looks like an envelope. Scroll down to advanced settings and do the same as above

Device will need to sync before it changes

This did not work for me. Every time Apple forces me to update my iPhone OS, I have issues with my Fitbit! I am the last person who need my watch to be 5 minutes slow. }:-(

Same happening to me on iPhone 12 Pro.

I tried the solution to change phone time zone sync. then change back to correct time zone and sync again. When the time zone was changed the watch did sync to the new time but it was 5 minutes behind still. Then switched back to the correct time. Synced again. The watch is still 5 minutes behind.

It's frustrating that the company would force us to figure this out on our own rather than address it. Why should we be switching time zones and somehow tricking the device to catch up? This is obviously a product bug, no?

I have not seen a reply from FitBit. However, I finally figured out how to fix it and eventually it stopped happening every time I charged it. I had to go into the app and sync my watch after every recharge. Now it doesn’t do it any longer.....at least I hope it’s a permanent fix. 🤷🏻‍:female_sign:
