Just got a new Charger HD. Everything was working fine. I looked back at yesterday's data then back to today and my STEPS disappeared. Not just less but the entire section on the Dashboard is gone! How do I restore my Dashboard?

I just responded to this email through a different link, but I'm not sure I
posted it correctly. My Steps issue resolved itself when my phone updated
to the new dashboard. The dashboard became available later than most, it
seems, and now everything is working correctly on the dashboard. But....
now I have a new problem.

My info (date, time, steps) do not show up when I turn my wrist to look at
the Fitbit, like a watch. It's a Charge 2 that I bought in January. I've
tried turning, flicking my wrist every way imaginable. I try every day -
this started last week. The screen is always blank. I'm wondering if there
is a solution or do I need to return/exchange it?

I really appreciate your advice.

Hello @panatton has your tracker done a sync with your fitbit account yet?

If, so and not knowing which dashboard your looking at, app/web iIwould rec unending tap/click on the exercise tile .On the web then click see more .The next page should show a list of recorded activities. Click on the top one.

I'm wondering which mode was used to record the dog walk .

Same thing happened to me, drove me crazy.
Try to sync the git bit again to your ap, and once you’ve synced it, it
should work, at least mine finally did, but it does unsynch sometimes by
itself, for not known reason, and then you need to sync it again. Hope this
helps? Good luck!

Why are my steps different from my Fitbit than on my app?

Welcome to the community @Booboo4me

Without having details of the problem, I'm going to assume the tracker shows more steps then the app does.

This is usually caused by not doing a sync recently.

The App does not get it's data from the tracker, but the data comes from the Fitbit server.

The tracker needs to sync it's data to the Fitbit server before the app will be able to display the data.

So the reason is that the tracker has not done a sync recently.

Now if the app has a larger step count the the tracker, I have no clue and rarely see any one asking this question

There is no edit button; the dashboard is not working properly: I am not getting weekly reports nor daily ones-everything shows as zero, but it also shows as being synced.
