My charge 2 can't find the bluetooth :(

Morning everyone,

My charge 2 is not able to find my blue tooth. I have followed the instructions of turning off bluetooth- then back on etc. still nothing. My charge is now charging from the cpu, sitting on my phone and I have tried it again and the pop up i get is, " connection unsuccessful. make sure charge 2 is turned on (it is) and in rage"

It's sitting on my phone. I dont think it could get any closer.

I really don't want to delete the app and then reinstall it because I don't want to lose any of my data.

Hope you can help.

Thanks again,

Amanda 🙂

I had a problem with this and had to turn of the Bluetooth on my Ipad as it was conflicting with the Bluetooth on my Iphone.    I have also had to go in to the Bluetooth and make sure that it is connected to my Iphone.

@amanda6 i was thinking that too. A Bluetooth device such as soeakers, headphones, and Fitbits are only able to connect to one device at a time.

Im assuming that your tracker issetup.l, have you restarted the phone and tracker, or removed the Charge2 from the phones bluetooth settings,  leave it alone in the app.

Hey Amanda6,

Try to pair it with another mobile, once its paired to it then log out the and switch off the Bluetooth.

Then give a try on your own mobile....

@amanda6 I'm going to add that a user does not pair a Fitbit tracker to a phone, the tracker gets setup to the users Fitbit account.

Once the tracker is setup it is good to go. As @Shreyas.V mentions log out of the one device and turn it's Bluetooth off.

Then on your phone log into your account, your all setup, and just need to accept any permissions that are being requested.

Now at some point you will want to remove your tracker from the other devices Bluetooth.

Yeah in another phone log into Fitbit app using your account only. Then
your Fitbit will sync and you can connect to your actual mobile it worked
for me.

My problem:

I can see my charge 2 in my Bluetooth list and when I tried to pair it. It
says wrong pin because of this I'm not able to sync my Fitbit device with
Fitbit app.

What I did to resolve it:

> Tried multiple options like installing/uninstalling the app, restarting
Fitbit device, rebooting my mobile phone but nothing worked for me.

Finally,

> I took my friends and tried to connect Fitbit device through Bluetooth in
the first attempt it didn't worked.

>I did RESET OFF Fitbit device, turned off and on the Bluetooth. Then I
found my device in the Bluetooth list and with just one touch it was paired
and sync'ed with the Fitbit app also.

>Then unpaired Fitbit from my friends mobile and uninstalled the app.

> And then I'm able to see Fitbit device in my mobile phone. It was
connected and synced with one touch .

Hope this helps u
