Does anyone have any suggestions, or a similar experience? I ordered a Fitbit charge 3 from Amazon at Christmas, I receiveit on the 23rd of Dec. Last night I put it in the charger, and this morning woke up and the screen is covered in vertical lines, and it will not sync. I have restarted it correctly with the smiley face procedure, changed the faces through the phone app, but it's still looking like it's wrecked 😞Wow Look at that screen!

I have the same issue on my Charge 3 bought in June. Aug 12th after functioning perfectly it was put on charge as normal and the screen afterwards was covered in white vertical lines. Gradually got worse ever since till now can barely read the outputs.

Mine started like this then went through the flicker and now the display is mostly unresponsive. All tracking is still working but the display is shot.

What if we are not under warranty?

I have had this exact same issue August 2nd this year, I had a replacement and today it has done the exact same thing, surely fitbit should be recalling these. My problem is if I get another replacement and at that point it's out of warranty, fitbit will just say sorry can't help you, even though this is a fault that has not been fixed from in warranty. Annoying!

On my 2nd replacement now being shipped today, here are my original on the right and the replacement on the left, both with the same defect. I have 0 confidence left in the charge 3.
Guys if you order a replacement, beware it will most likely do the same thing later, original broke August 2nd, replacement broke November 15th.

Wow. I don't want to get a new Fitbit now. i think I'm just going to have to stick with this. I would be okay with the lines, but the responsiveness just bugs. Fitbit should actually fix this, not just give replacements that do the same thing.

The problem is, the lines is just the start, my original on the right of the image, once boots just goes completely black, it use to be the same as the one on the left but eventually, it completely breaks and is unusable.
I am going to speak to trading standards to see if there is anything we could do because this is clearly an issue affecting a lot of people.

I am having the same issue. On top of that the battery has started to drain quickly. I tried several hard boots, syncing, clearing data and cache and I still have the same issue. I purchased two of these and the other one is normal. But given these comments, this is a known issue that has been going on for over a year. Why wasn't this pulled?

This is the second charge 3 that has had the vertical lines. Only had this one I got from my previous warranty for about 7 months...Fitbit should offer a recall for this defect.

Mine just started this last week and I have tried the reset. I am out of warranty, so I am out of luck. Just in time for the Charge 4 to come out. I don't think so, Fitbit.
