You are so lucky your Charge 3 lasted that long. I've gone through two that failed in less than a year total. Six months is what you'd expect from a dollar store item. That's terrible for such an expensive product. Fitbit had a huge quality control issue, or they tried to cut corners to save a few bucks, and what the customers ended up with a very expensive piece of garbage. A really high number of the displays are faulty. Fitbit will not do anything beyond replacing your in warranty device with another faulty device. You either have to just rely on your phone or pick another company to buy a fitness tracker from.
One thing you might try as no rebooting or changing the clock face will work, is to place the fitbit in the charger and hold the side button down. In a few seconds you should see the happy face and the display will work again for a while. At a certain point, like mine did last night, the display will fail and the option will not any longer. Now you have a fitbit flex.

Have y'all's gotten fixed? Mine got a line on it Weds or Thursday and now it is completely blank. It woke me up with some silent alarm at 230 am. It's still logging just I can't see it on the screen.

This happened to me less than a month ago! Once they saw that my warranty had lapsed. They just straightaway sent me a link to buy a nee watch! What a company!

I just tried to do what you just told me : "to place the fitbit in the charger and hold the side button down. In a few seconds you should see the happy face and the display will work again for a while. At a certain point, like mine did last night, the display will fail and the option will not any longer"
However my Fitbit still the same ,the screen still black and there is no response from Fitbit Team too.
I am shocked to know apparently a lot of peoples having the same issues
Quite dissapointed!

Hi,
My screen is black, does buzz when at the appropriate times.
I purchased mine in July 2019, so I'm 3 months past the warranty, and kicking myself for NOT buying the warranty.
I've tried all the suggestions and the screen is still black. So I have a watch that works, tracks my steps and also my sleep. I'm not going to buy another one, for it to do the same thing in a year (IF I buy, definitely will buy the warranty)
Sad that a $150 watch lasts this long.

This just happened to me today. I either have a blank screen, a few blurry lines, or half a screen that is off centered. I've tried EVERYTHING and it still doesn't work. It is just over 2 years old. And from what I've been reading that is really good that mine has lasted this long. I've been with Fitbit 7 years but I'm thinking this is my last straw.

Same here. Went blank today. Tried the restart, but it never shows a happy face or the charge icon. Only vibrates. Guess it must be a dead screen now. Not even had it a year, more like 7 to 8 months. Hopefully customer service will replace it until I can research and see what to try next since this looks like too common of a problem.

The reset does not work at all for me. I’ve tried this like a hundred times. Not sure what else I can do now. At one point this week the screen somehow came back on. A few hours it was gone again. This is my fourth Fitbit. SO frustrated with this company.

I have tried all the reset steps and nothing helps. As others have said my information still shows up on my fitbit app.
