My charge2 has stopped showing me my text messages?

My charge 2 has stopped showing me my text messages, I have checked that I still have notifications on but still no messages are coming up?

Unfortunately I am nowexperiencing the same issue. All was fine until a few days ago. I have not altered any settings and have rebooted my iphone and fit bit charge 2 as advised and gone through the advised checklist but still no joy

I just received my new Charge and Im not getting any notifications at all.   I came here to find an answer but every solution doesnt seem to work.    

I see this is a big problem with a lot of people i wonder if its a known issue by Fitbit

Bought mine last week and it has never showed messages

having the same issue... I received it for Christmas.... as of last week, I only receive a note now that says Message... no contact and/or message is shown.

I got my charge 2 before Christmas and never had an issue with texts. Always showed the name of the person. A few weeks ago, it stopped showing/notifying me of texts. I haven't changed any settings. Software is up to date.

YOu guys havent mentioned what phone your using, unfortunately the phone is about 90% of the setup. 

The 10% on the charge is about the new Do Not Interupt mode. While in the clock screen, hold the button in. If it says notifacations are on you are good, if not hold the button until it turns on.

If it is not this then please restart the phone.

Me too. A few days ago they just stopped showing up. I’ve done a reset on my charge, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, reset the phone. I don’t know what else to do.

I’ve done all of that thinking it was an iPhone issue. I even did a hard reset to start from scratch. Re downloaded the app, reset the charge. Any other thoughts I might be missing? It’s the only reason I wear the bulky one and now nothing comes thru.

I guess the change was part of the last update I did.

On your Fitbit, screen with time and steps(first one) hold button in for a sec. if it says notifications off, keep holding till it changes. If it says on let go. If it still doesn’t work, check your app and make sure notifications are on

Actually @dr0365 I noticed this mentioned back in Dec 2016, it is documented in the Charge 2 User manual thsttis found intothe Fitbit help site. Link below as help.

held the button in on the notification icon on the hr2 and it came back on.   thanks

HR2 does not show Text messages or phone calls.  Started after last update.  Checked notifications they are all on?  What to do???

Downloaded new Fitbit software and turned notifications on Fitbit back on. All is well!

Thank you. Reset notifications to on onnthe Fitbit itself! Not sure how it turned off!

I’m sorry but every so often, maybe an update... my charge and flex stop notifications. I’m kinda over it. Every time I have to uninstall, reinstall, reconnect, go they all the settings. Everything is on in my phone and my apps. They are even set to permanent display not temporary and still nothing. It’s more of a hassle then anything lately so I’ve given up going thru this every month. I’m juts sad I paid the extra money for it when I could of stick with a flex.

I have all the correct boxes are checked and my notifications are on. My Charge 2 just quit sending me text notifications. Can anybody help me?
