Hi. My fitbit charge 3 always comes up short on distance.
My husband has used his brand new versa 2 for the first time today, we went for a walk together on a distance route his distance was spot on and my distance was over 1/2 mile less than his, this also happens when I compare with other fitbit users. All paces are on automatic

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Forgoodnesssake.
Thank you for the information provided about your walks.
If you are not recording your activities with GPS, your Fitbit Charge 3 uses the formula below to calculate distance:
Steps x Stride Length = Distance Traveled (Your stride length is determined by your height and sex. Please make sure this information is correct in your Fitbit account).
Please make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app (3.35 Android and iOS). To check your current version and update, please visit this article and scroll down until you see "How do I update the Fitbit app?".
To update your stride length, track a run with GPS or measure your stride length manually by following these instructions. In addition you can perform a restart to your Tracker.
Please let us know if you have any question.
