HI @Bodieboy -- because exercise bikes are stationary and your hands don't move much, Fitbit cannot detect that you are on one automatically (unlike when you go on a bike ride outside).

But you can add 'spinning' to the list of exercises in the exercise app on your CH3 (after removing one of the six that are already there so there is room).  Then you can start and stop your workout manually from your CH3 (swipe left from main screen on CH3, click 'exercise', then swipe through the available exercises.  I don't think 'spin' is loaded when you set up the CH3 for the first time, so you will probably have to add it.  Here are instructions for doing that using the fitbit app on your phone.

  1. Tap the Today tab

     > your profile picture > your device image.
  2. Tap Exercise Shortcuts and make your changes:
    • Tap + Exercise Shortcut to add an exercise.
    • To remove an exercise, swipe left on a shortcut and tap Delete (on Windows 10, tap the trash can icon).
    • To reorder the exercises, tap Edit. Press and hold a shortcut, and drag it up or down to change its position.
  3. Sync your device.

Below is a list of exercise that you can load, but

Hope this helps.  Let us know.
