My charge 2 HR started out last fall recording all of my sleep time, but lately it has not been recording the first 3 or 4 hours of sleep. I fall asleep around 11 for example, wake up at 2, go right back to sleep and wake up at 6. The charge 2 only records the sleep from 2 to 6. Why is it not picking up the first part of the sleep? My husband verifies that I am deep in sleep during the hours it doesn't record.

Hey @dlemma, welcome aboard! If your Charge 2 isn't recording the first hours of sleep, I'd like you to take into consideration the fact that maybe the first hours you were moving from a very restful position into one involving greater movement, such as turning over in bed. When your device indicates that you are moving so much that restful sleep would not be possible, your sleep graph will indicate that you were awake. However, if you are sure that you were deeply asleep, maybe it was the Charge 2 that didn't well recognized your sleep data. So let me suggest you to try to restart it by following these instructions.
Let me know how it goes!

The reset worked perfectly! Actually, since I bought my Fitbit, it never responded to my tapping the screen like it should. I had the correct version on it and everything. However, since I reset it, it is not only recording my sleep for the most part but tapping on the screen actually works. Last night for instance, I fell asleep at 11:30 and was sound asleep all night, not getting up for anything, but it only recorded from 1:30 on. I'll keep track of it and perhaps reset again if I find this occurring over and over.
