My fitbit 2 is not holding its charge after charging

I put my fitbit charge2 to charge Monday night and just looked at battery on app on my phone and it says 75% why is doing this? Also I keep getting messages on my phone to say it sync and don't know why? And I get message every day? 

Please help

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not holding a charge. Remember that your device can last up to 5 days with a charge. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life.
