My hartrate lowered and now I don’t come in active zones anymore

Mij bloodpressure is improving, lowering bètablokkers and stopped other medication.

now my rest heartbeat is also lowering (60 at night) and now when walking I don’t come in active zones anymore like fatburming.

Also the active minutes are less.

What can I do or is Fitbit adjusting the zones at my heartbeat ?

To reach cardio is very hard work now….

butcI walk a lot and was always in fatburming partial but now not anymore.

Do I have to do something in the settings, I never did this, it was always done by the fitbit itself.

Thanks!!!

@Yustbeyou   There is a setting you can change in the Fitbit app to adjust your zones.  You set a Custom Maximum Heart Rate,  Please do the following:

  • Tap on your profile picture
  • Swipe up and tap on Activity & Wellness
  • Tap on Heart Settings
  • Tap on Heart Rate Zones
  • Look for the Custom Max Heart rate and toggle it to On

There is a number there and that is your maximum heart rate for your age, based on a standard equation.  You can tap and edit that number - try lowering it by 10 beats per minute and see if that helps.

You mentioned active minutes.  Active minutes are out of date and aren't a recommendation.  Fitbit's active zone minutes correspond closely to the CDC and WHO recommendations.  Fitbit's fat burn zone corresponds to the CDC/WHO moderate activity.  If you are walking, you should be walking fast enough so that you can speak the words to a song, but you can't sing it.
