Hubby got a new Fitbit charge 3 & gifted me his charge 2, he deleted the account and turned off Bluetooth etc and I downloaded the app and set up an account and we then paired the charge 2 to this...however all his info is still in the Fitbit (it says I have done 8k steps and walked 7 k etc), how can I get rid of all this old data?

Assuming you are set up in a different account than  what he had, that is probable his data since the last time he synced.  If he had synced right before giving it to you, that data should not be there.  The best way to get rid of it now is to do a sync to get data from tracker to that account, then set up a new account/email for it and forget about the account you are now using.
