My steps, minutes and calories burned are off

I have been using the Charge 2 for a year and a half now, and havent had too many issues.  I have the same routine every morning, and my steps, minutes and calories burned are usually in the same range.  The past few days, they have been way off.  I generally average about 1,000 steps for every 7 minutes of running in place, but lately its been down to 700 or so.  I even count my steps, then check the FitBit and its way off.  My calories burned are down several hundred from where they normally are, and yesterday I was at 3,600 calories burned, and it jumped backwards to 3,000 or so when I synced it.

Would a simple restart work on my device, or is there another way to get it back to working normally?

@PeterWarrickDun Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear that your calories are other stats are incorrect. Check that your personal information is correctly set on your account (age, weight, height) also check that you don't have any third party apps as they may log activities that may change your readings. Finally check that you don't have any manually logged activities on the Fitbit app itself.

Regarding the steps your tracker will detect the movement on your arm and translate that movement into steps. There are situations in which your arm may move but you won't be actually walking and vice versa. This may happen when you are playing the drums, burping a baby or clapping and the opposite can happen when you push a cart. It can also happen when driving. For added sensitivity you can try wearing your tracker on your dominant hand but select that hand as non dominant on the tracker’s settings to make it more sensitive to movement.

Let me know how it goes!
