my strap and piece that holds my strap on my Fitbit has broken off. This is the second time this happened in one year. Is there a problem with these

mine was working perfectly, until this morning, when I noticed that one of the straps was not holding up. it seems that the black piece got loose on oen side. I am wondering if tightening the little screws on the side would fix this OR if I can use glue!
I really love this band. i have had it for about a year now

My strap for my Charge 4 broke once after about 15 months of owning it, and I taped it together with black tape. Then it broke again in a different spot. Since I hated the band anyway, I looked on eBay and found just what I was looking for: a different kind of band with a lot of colors to choose from. AND it cost less than $8.00! It looks like it is woven and is made of fabric. I was hesitant about replacing the band, but it was really easy to do. It kind of snapped off and snapped on the new one. The one I bought didn´t have the same closure as the black band that came with it. It just slips over my hand to put it on and is adjustable and best of all, it is comfortable.
