After having my charge two for a week, the part of the band that attaches to the actual Fitbit broke. I got a new one, but it broke in the exact same exact spot. Would my warranty still cover another one since I just got it replaced? And what can I do to stop this from happening? It hasn't even been a month since I've purchased it and only seems to last a week before the wristband breaks.

POOR product design. POOR customer service. Now time to write reviews across the social media platforms.
Customer Service = They will find another customer to service or not

Some $6 for a completely metal band on Amazon. They are nicely made and gives the watch a non sports watch look. Everyone in my family switched over within a month or two after purchase of their tracker.

@Fitony it has been in the news that Google has agreed acquire Fitbit. There are several approvals and challenges in several countries that have to be settled before anything may happen. Don't worry it is probably many months away

I have the same problem. I had my band replaced once and then purchased other bands hoping it would change but its all the same problem. It's unfortunate, because I have almost lost my Fitbit on three different occasions cause the band randomly breaks. I feel like fitbit meets on my needs but even after trying super glue I can't get it to stay on my wrist.

2 years on a rubber band is pretty good, rubber has a limited life. Just look at your tires.
I'll bet if you down my $7 two years ago for a nice metal band from Amazon you would still have a niche metal band.

Rich_Laue - this is the 3rd or 4th broken band, not the original.

The first thing I did after getting the Charge 3 was to replace the band. I have 5 relatives that also have these bands for several models of fitbits.
Never has anyone had a problem don't know why anyone would go through the hassle of replacing a band more than once.

Why - because I hate companies treating people like crap and I will waste their time if need be, sending continual emails and getting my matters escalated as high as I can before they just start ignoring me.

Then again I know many that are still on their first band 2+ years later.

I think it could be the connector on the watch as my wife only wears it around the house, etc, etc and not when at a gym or whatever. I told them that but they won't listen. I will get her another band but I am also happy to hassle bit companies like Google. I am retired lol.

Hi, sorry to trouble you but can you provide a link to the band you are using please? There are so many on the market and don't want to get one that looks the same but is just going to be as useless as the originals. Perhaps it won't be available in Australia and I will have to take pot luck. Thanks

Hi Gabby11
I bought it off Lazada. Came in set of 3. https://www.lazada.sg
I’m still using the first of the 3, which is hardier than the original. Cheap too...makes me wonder y FitBit fails so miserably in fixing the problem, giving customers the runaround. Best of luck.
