MyFitnessPal integration with Fitbit

Hi, i have recently started using the MyFitnessPal app which I am using to log my calorie intake for the day. I have been using my Fitbit for over a year and love the concept and application interface. However as i have integrated my Fitbit with the MFP app, It only tracks my steps taken for the day and not my exercise. This i have to manually feed in the MFP app which then duplicates it in the FitBit app. If i have burned over 500cal in my morning workout, i would expect my calorie count in the MFP app to increase +500 however it only increases marginally as it counts only my steps. I have turned on the negative calorie in take as well to get the most accurate response. Please if you could help and advise how i could log my Fitbit exercise to MyFitnessPal

@ankrishkapur Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your MyFitnessPal integration. The integration works this way:

From Fitbit to MyFitnessPal:
  • Steps
  • Calories
  • Scale measurements
From MyFitnessPal to Fitbit:
  • Logged food
  • Activities

So if you want activities logged on your MFP account, they will be duplicated on your Fitbit account. You can reach out to MFP to ask then to also import activities from Fitbit to the integration. You can also share your idea in our Feature Suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exists so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

Let me know how it goes.
