I've started having the same problem. It started after the last update, I get the name but not the message. Ive tried restarting the Fitbit as well as the phone and bluetooth, no luck.

Same here, I tried all that too. I messaged Fitbit support on twitter. Hope they get back to me

Same here, I've tried everything possible and still am not seeing the text, just the sender.

I heard from Fitbit and they are trying to work on it as they know it's an
issue. Hopefully when they do a new update it will be fixed.

Just finished chatting with them. Appears to be a known issue and their engineers are working on a solution. No estimated time frame on completion

Here it is August 8th and I still don't get the body of the message...only the person calling or texting!  Ugh!

I contacted Fitbit and they gave me instructions of what to do...which I did to a "T"...but, not luck....

Come on Fitbit...get this fixed!

Still no luck with mine either. Have a Google Pixel 2. Hopefully Fitbit can get it fixed soon!

When I reached out to a customer support person he wasn't able to figure it out. After some troubleshooting and research on his end he then asked what kind of phone I have (Galaxy Note 😎 and then his quick 'out' was that it was my phones problem, not Fitbit. I asked why it had been working fine for the last year up until the most recent Fitbit update? His response was that my phone was not fully supported.

It's not our phones, it's the update Fitbit did. That's what I was told. We
just have to hang tight and see if and why the finally update it to work
again.
