I just bought a new charge 2. I charged it and now it will not turn on. I've pushed the button while it is in the charger and the screen will come on for about 2 seconds. When I take it out the charger it and push the button again the screen says black. I'm wondering if it is defective? If not what am I doing wrong? Help!

Hi @Susierwb the Charge 2 was discontinued at least two and a half years ago. If you got it new, there's no telling how long it sat in a box with a completely dead battery. It's possible that is your problem. Can you to return it?

Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
