Is there a fix for text messages not coming through to my new Charge 3 tracker? I would like to find a solution and if not I will need to return it within the 30 days. I bought this in order to receive the texts.

The "message+" app is text message app with extended capabilities for emojis and what not, that came with my Samsung Galaxy S10 phone on Verizon network. There is an second lower performance text messaging app called "messages" I was receiving text message notifications on my charge 3 just fine. Then one day I wasn't. This probably was after an S10 update. When I go into the fitbit settings to allow text message notifications the "message+" check box is greyed out but the regular "message" app is available for selection. Unfortunately, the S10 requires that you choose either the message+ or the message app but not both.
Can someone tell me why the message+ app is greyed out?
