New device and cant .get fitbit to sync on it

I got a new tablet to replace the old one. I transferred e very thing across and can log o. To my Fitbit account on it but the sync refuses to set up.

Is the device you are trying to sync to a supported device?

Yes it is. It's  a new galaxy sm-t510. Fitbit app is running and trying to sync with my charge 2
