Hello Fitbit, when will, Fitbit, release a new update to fix the issues that almost all Andriod users are having with the text notifications not being received on their charge 3? I am very sure everyone has done all the right steps required to fix the issue, but to no avail. I know that Fitbit it aware of this issue, but wanted to see if there are news about a new firmware update to fix the issue. Thank you!

Forgot to mention, the current firmware is 1.63.5. Fitbit needs to update to a new firmware to fix the major issue that are going on right now with the text messages.

Hello there @Wolverine86, thanks for stopping by. I am sorry to hear that you are going through this situation. I appreciate your feedback for the Fitbit Charge 3 and your efforts while troubleshooting this issue with the notifications. 

 

Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps as we have already done all over the Community Forums. However, at this time we don't have any updates about when the issue will be fully solved. 

 

On other hand and in regards to your question about the firmware version, we don't have a time frame on when a new firmware update for Charge 3 might be available.

My Charge 3 is staying at 1.63.5. Apparently, 1.84.5 is available but it is not showing me the Update button or updating itself. My device seems to be inflating the steps a lot. Hoping the firmware will fix it. But not able to force update the device

Apparently, this is a firmware\ version available only to people participating in some program or other. I looked it up last week when I got my C3.
