No Bluetooth on my Fitbit charge hr 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

It seems that the Friday 13th curse has struck my Fitbit again! Last time, on my Charge hr literally fell to pieces. This time my bluetooth has stopped working. I have followed all the help advice of updating, turning bluetooth and off, phone on and off, app on and off to no avail. Fitbit is fully charged.

I even set up the app on my husband's phone but neither app can detect my fitbit. Moreover, when I check on Bluetooth devices able to be detected on each phone, neither can see it. It hasn't synced for nearly 2 days now 😞

Unless you enable notifications in the app, your tracker will never show in your phone's settings. Simple syncing only connects via bluetooth during the sync.

Already done that 😞 Location enabled too.

@Cadibel Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Try restarting your tracker by doing the following:

Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter.
Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely.
Your tracker should start charging.
Press the button for 10 to 12 seconds.
You should see your tracker's firmware version and you can now unplug your tracker.

After this restart your phone and remove the tracker from the bluetooth list now go to the app and retry syncing them.

@SunsetRunner thank you for your help in this thread.

Let me know how it goes!

Ate you having a problem that we could help with @peterpeg.

As for Bluetooth problems, most have simply been caused by the user not understanding how it works with Fitbut.

This worked for me! Thank you!

I ended up returning mine to the shop and they gave me a new one. Guess the
first one must have been faulty as the notifications really work this time
and love the ability to read texts on it! My other one NEVER did that!

But after a week my new one glitched on the Bluetooth too! This time the
resetting worked but have to agree that the Bluetooth does seem
temperamental for sure!
