Hello, Breathing Rate ( BR ) data no longer appears in Health Metrics since January 20, 2022. All the data in the other categories in Health Metrics is there and breathing still tracks fine and reports data during sleep. A reboot did not solve the problem. Can you advise how to resolve this and what caused it? Thank you.

@NYTravelGal If the BR is not in the health metrics, where are you seeing your BR? I thought it was only displayed in the health metrics tile, of the fitbit app (premium users only???). Apparently it uses the latest (minimum 3 hour) sleep period, for your BR.

@charleskn Oxygen variation is tracked through your breathing and the data shows high and low in Sleep Stages. This data shows daily while Breathing Rate in Health Metrics does not.

My Charge 4 is still not tracking Breathing Rate in Health Metrics and it says for me to wear my Fitbit to bed where the data should be. I already wear it to bed and all the other data during sleep tracks fine. 10 days now and still no BR data. Reboot didn’t work. Can anyone advise what is causing this and how to fix it?

I'm surprised that @AndreaFitbit or on of the others hasn't chimed in. The usual suggestions they make always assume that there is nothing wrong with the tracker, and suggest restarting the tracker, which you've tried. They also suggest deleting your app cache and/or data, and even deleting and re-installing the app. At this point, those might be worth a try. After that, I would be bugging them about the tracker.
Does everything else seem to function normally? Steps, heart rate, etc., and you see those in the dashboard?

I don’t check my device every day, since Wednesday my BR has not been shown, HRV, Skin Temp, RHR are all shown abd current.
Could this be linked to the iOS 15.3 and new software version 3.53?. I’ve rebooted my device today and will see what the morning brings

@NYTravelGal Also, it would be helpful for the fitbit team to know what device you're on. There is a huge difference between the Android and iOS apps.

@charleskn Thank you for the follow up and reply. I have an iPhone 13 Pro and I am wondering where Fitbit support is myself. Everything else on my Charge 4 works fine and I have tried all the steps as you mention. @Johnerz I thought of the iOS update too but didn’t see any reports of a BR issue when I checked the iOS support forum. I am not sure what else to do but wait for Fitbit support to respond…

FWIW, I have a slightly similar issue. My SPO2 typically doesn't load until some time after I'm up and have synced my tracker a few times, but it tends to always show up at some point during the day. Hopefully a moderator will comment soon (tagging a few that have been helpful before, to get their attention 😊: @AlejandraFitbit; @LizzyFitbit ; @JuanFitbit ).

@charleskn , Thank you for tagging us here to make us aware about your situations.
@charleskn @Johnerz @NYTravelGal . Nice to see you here. Again thank you for your reports and efforts on trying to solve the missing breathing rate graph.
Could you just please confirm if you all are using an iOS device and the model of it and the OS version installed?
Just to see if this is only affecting a few users or if this also affecting Android systems
I'll appreciate your collaboration.
See you around.

New problem. Now my treadmill walk isn’t tracking as exercise. The time tracked in zone minutes but did not automatically track as walk in exercise the same way as it did Tuesday. Are these two issues possibly a sync issue that activity seems to be picked up in one feature and not another?
