No Charge 4 data on skin temperature graph

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I installed the SPo2 / Skin Temperature feature in my Charge 4 last Monday.

I see both the SPo2 and the Skin Temperature graphs.  I can see data on the SPo2 graph.  I see no data on the Skin temperature graph after three days.

Is anyone else having the same issue. Does anyone know why.  Is there an issue at Fitbit.

Same issue, it's been 5 days and still no data.

I have same problems. Why give us an upgrade if it wont work!?

I am finding that so many users of the Charge 4 are having the same complaint.  So, I think there is an issue on Fitbits end.  Just like when a few months ago there was an issue with Syncing.  They kept telling me that my phone was not on their list of phones compatible with Fitbit.  Turns out after alot of compliants that they had technicians work on it.  It took two days to fix.  When they told me originally that the issue was my phone, I cried because I thought I would have to discontinue using my Charge 4.  Luckily the problem was solved.  I think it's the same thing this time.

The SPo2 graph works like a charm.  No issues with it.  Just the Skin Temperature graph is not working.

Yes, I was told the same thing.  That it would take up to thirty days for all the data for the Skin Temperature graph to create a baseline.  I wonder if we have to wait up to thirty days for the data to show.

Just to let everyone know.  Whoever uses the Charge 4, I am providing this explanation that in a chat with Fitbit I was told.  In the newest upgrade, which is the installation of the SPo2 / Skin Temperature feature the SPo2 feature shows data on the watchface.  If you scroll down.  It also shows data on the graph*.  The Skin Temperature feature shows data on the graph only*.  The Skin Temperature feature doesn't show any data on your device.

Also, the Fitbit recent firmware, should be 1.100.34.  you can find it in the Fitbit app by selecting your profile picture in the far left on your screen, and it will be displayed there.

As far as the issues concerning no data showing on the graphs or on the device.  I am not sure.  But I think it has something to do with the thirty day baseline of data.  I think Fitbit should or is working in it.

hope this clarifies any confusion.

Thank you for your attention.

Has anyone managed to get a charge 4 to display temp data? Mine says to update to latest firmware but if I check for updates it says I’m up to date? Any advice appreciated

As far as I know nobody has any data yet. No news from Fitbit (no surprise there) as to why or when we may expect anything but hopefully they are working on a fix now.

Hi everyone. It's nice to see you participating in the Community Forums.

Thanks for your reports about the Health Metrics tile, as well for every step tried prior to posting. First of all, let me explain that the Fitbit app needs at least 3 nights of skin temperature data to estimates your personal baseline. However, as you continue to wear your Charge 4 to sleep, the Fitbit app will use up to 30 nights of data to adjust your baseline.

That being said, if you have 3+ nights of sleep data and some or all of your health metrics data is missing, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Double check if the Fitbit app is updated on your phone.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  3. Restart your Charge 4 with the charging cable.
  4. Reboot your phone.

If by any chance these steps don't work for you, let me know which graph you're not able to see and if you have a Premium subscription so I can investigate on my end.

See you around.

I just did all of these steps based on a similar post in another area of the Fitbit community, with the addition of logging out of the app and force quitting it before rebooting my phone (as suggested by another Fitbit moderator) with no success in getting data to populate the Skin Temp graph. I installed the latest Fitbit app update last Wednesday and the latest Fitbit Charge 4 firmware a day or so earlier than that.

Done all that and I'm now 6 days in and no skin temperature showing. Everything else is working and showing fine. I don't have premium.

The update came through for me a week ago and still no data on the Skin temperature graph.  All others, BR, HRV, SpO2 and RHR are functioning as expected.  What can be done to make the Skin temperature data to populate the graph?

I have the firmware update, and the most recent iOS update. I have a Premium account. It has been more than 3 days (more than 5, actually). I can see a skin temp graph, but there’s no data on the graph, and no skin temp info. I believe there’s a glitch that still needs to be addressed by FitBit,

So many users are having this issue.  So, its definitely a glitch on Fitbits end.  I chatted with Fitbit and they said they were working on it.

Had the same issues with syncing a few months ago.  It was a problem on their end.  They fixed it in about two or three days.
