I updated my Alta HR Fitbit app on Nov 12 2018. Since then it completely stopped giving detailed sleep information and calculating a resting HR. SUPER FRUSTRATING because I believe this is a software issue. My Fitbit worked perfectly for 11 months prior.
PLEASE FIX.
I’ve chatted with support and wasted 50 min ‘investigating’ then gave up because I had to start my work day. This problem has nothing to do with the band (genuine Fitbit), the location of where it is worn ( either arm, inside arm facing, outside arm facing, different distances from my wrist bones, tighter/looser). Definitely software!!!

I also want to add that the app records all my hr data and is set to auto. There is no issue with the device actually detecting and monitoring hr, it’s completely an app problem ( after I updated the app).
