For some reason my Charge 2 is not displaying my text messages anymore..  It will show when a call comes through.  Any particular reason this is happening and how do I fix it?

My daughter and I have had the same problem over the last 4-5 days. I have tried everything that is suggested that we do. I find it interesting that we both had everything working fine and then all of a sudden neither one of us has been getting our notifications. I hope we find an answer! It's one of the best things I've liked about my Charge2. Phone calls come through, but not texts.

I came looking for an answer to this problem.  At least I know it isn't just me now.

Mine hasn’t worked for the last several days either.  Very frustrated.  I have tried a couple of things that were suggested to no avail.

I posted on Twitter @fitbitsuport that there are issues with notifications .., and I saw this

Apologies if Fitbit data hasn't synced to your MFP account. We have addressed the issue, but have a backlog of sync requests to work through before things return to normal.  Please see the featured post on our help page for additional details and updates:

I'd think MFP is MyFitnessPal, not text messages.  I'm not really seeing anything useful on the help page.

My text notifications are working intermittently but the call notification is not working. Hopefully they will work in the trouble tweet I reported. I told them it was not just me having issues!!

I can, however, still receive Messenger messages, if that's what I choose.

I was able to get my messages showing again.  It appears on my phone that the update turned off the notification system.  I had to go into the fitbit app screen for notification and enable the notification again.  Then I had to go into my phone settings for the fitbit app and turn on call & text notification.

This is now working for me, but my sync is still not working properly.

Thanks!  I finally stumbled upon it today and am now getting my notifications.  If not for your post, I may have missed it.

My wife and I have been having the same issue. We will not get any text notifications, but all others come through - though the call notifications usually display the incorrect name. We both have Google Pixel 2 XL phones and it appeared to start happening around the same time that they updated the app. I've tried restarting the phone and fitbit, uninstalling and reinstalling the device and app, but nothing has worked so far. Very frustrating!

I too am not receiving text notifications. I am receiving call notifications. Was even on phone with Fitbit. Have reset my fitbit, powered off my phone, checked notifications. Nothing has helped.

Me too.  It started with showing who was texting me and now I can't get any text messages.  It's receiving calendar updates but no texts and now no calls.  I tried everything on the help screen last night to no avail.  Getting tired of Fitbit issues.  First the exporting of data and now this.  What the hell?  Time to take to Twitter and complain.  They listen to us there and not here,

No text notifications for me either over the last several days.  I have tried everything suggested on the website.  Sounds like a bug they are working to fix.  Hopefully.  I loved this about my fitbit!!

Here’s what finally worked for me on my iPhone 6. Go into your account in the app (the very top left part of the screen). Click on the Charge 2. It should say “connected”. Click on notifications where you can turn on Calls, Text Messages and Calendar Events.

I hope this helps.
