Just bought a new charge 4 but no spo2 app on it.
Tried updating the Fitbit app but no change!
My previous charge 4 just broke off at the cheap plastic wrist strap nub.( This had the spo2 facility).
I then tried to use my old but still working Fitbit charge 2 but this now frustratingly no longer pairs up to the Fitbit app, so hence this new charge 4 but now no spo2.
The spo2 is in the health metrics bit of the app but no app to make it active on the Fitbit app.
Have updated the app, uninstalled twice but no change.
Any suggestions?

Hello @Tennmax and welcome to the Community. Your new Charge 4 has the firmware from when it was manufactured. The SpO2 app was released in a firmware update. Fitbit is constantly sending out firmware updates to eligible devices. You got in line when you added your Charge 4 to your account. You should get the update notification in 24-48 hours. Please don't remove your device again and reinstall it as you will lose your place in line. You will get more frustrated if you look in the Gallery. You can't get the app if you don't have the applicable firmware.
The firmware version that added the SpO2 app is v 1.100.34. Another firmware version was released after that. The current firmware is v 1.100.43. Please don't get alarmed if your update doesn't get you to the current firmware. My husband started using my Ionic (RIP, it was an awesome device) after it sat in a box for a few years. It was nine versions out of date. They came in two batches.

Hello @Tennmax
From my understanding Fitbit Spo2 app is automatically added for users in select countries. Make sure your device is running the latest version. if you still don’t see it you can try looking in the app gallery. Here’s how: open your Fitbit App, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Charge 4 . Now tap gallery then the clock tab at the top of your screen. Now tap the magnifying glass and type in Spo2, tap Spo2 then tap install.
😉 I hope this provides you with an answer. Please let me know.
