Tips
- If your mobile device has a text conversation open, you won't receive notifications from that conversation.
- If you miss notifications occasionally, it may be because your tracker was syncing at the same time the notification arrived.
- If you're receiving notifications but they seem delayed, the Bluetooth connection between your tracker and your mobile device may be unstable. If Bluetooth regularly fails you should notify your device manufacturer.
- If you have another Bluetooth device connected to your mobile device, it may cause interference that prevents notifications from appearing on your tracker. For more information, see The Fitbit app for iOS is interfering with my other Bluetooth devices.
- Make sure the Do Not Disturb setting on your mobile device is turned off because it prevents the device from sending notifications to your tracker.
- If you have Fitbit Blaze, Fitbit Charge 2, or Fitbit Surge, make sure your Notifications are turned on:
- For Blaze, hold the top right button for a couple seconds to make sure Notifications is set to On.
- For Charge 2, from the clock screen, press and hold the button to make sure Notifications is set to On. Keep in mind notifications must be turned on to receive reminders to move throughout the day.
- For Surge, swipe to Settings and make sure Notifications is set to On.
- If you turned on notifications from third-party apps for Blaze, keep in mind only apps that send notifications to your mobile device can send notifications to your tracker. If you’ve received a notification on your mobile device from an app such as Facebook, but you don’t see Facebook as an option under App Notifications, complete these steps in the Fitbit app:
Yes my fitbit wasnt shwoing the notifications anymore- so I went through the app and made it display again and your right the notifications said off- thanks sooo much I was worried my fitbit wasnt working anymore! thanks so much

My Fitbit worked well for about 1 month getting the vibrations of phone calls, texts, 10,000 steps etc. but now nothing. Any suggestion?

Follow these steps:
Under Fitbit menu click 'Menu Items'
Check 'Notifications'
Make sure your Fitbit syncs
Now using your Fitbit side button, push until you reach the 'Notification' screen. It probably says 'OFF'
Push and hold the side button to enable notifications.
Mine worked when I first bought it and then all notifications stopped. So I did this and now it's all back on. 😁 Hope this helps you guys!

Press and hold the button on the left of your charge until it says notifications on (or off).

THANK YOU!! I read *every single message* and tried every single thing people were advising to do, and yours was the only one that helped. Not sure how the “Notifications” under “Menu Items” got switched off (I certainly did not go in there and do it!), but it somehow did! Thanks to your advice, I switched it back on, and am now getting text and phone alerts - yay!! Tomorrow will be the ultimate test, though, to see if I get my reminder to move alerts. I am assuming they will work, but thanks anyway in advance! It has been a week and a half of no alerts - very sad - but ecstatic now!
