Samsung have just released an update for my A7 (2018) previous to this I got my text msg and calls showing on my charge 2. Now it will not pair for msg. My Fitbit data is updating fine. So frustrated about txt & call function not working. Have turned off, on, reset both devices, checked permissions. Need help please as I cant be the only one 🙂

First, I'd like to appreciate your time and effort troubleshooting your device prior posting, I totally understand how frustrating this situation can be for you. Let me share with you that the Samsung Galaxy A7 is not currently listed on our list of support devices with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties. I know that certain users were able to use incompatible mobile devices to sync their Fitbits, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this connection difficulties. Even though your Samsung A7 is not compatible, let give it a try to our help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes. Also, can you please specify if you're not receiving both call and text notifications or if this is occurring with only text messages?
If by any chance you're unable to receive notifications after taking in consideration all the information and details from the help article previously provided, I recommend you to use a compatible device and keep me posted.
