Not recieving any notifications on my Charge 4

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have tried everything after reviewing all the posts and can no longer receive any notifications. I haven't been able to get notifications for about 2 monrhs. My last try: turn off Bluetooth, force stop, clear cache, Uninstall app, restart phone. Reboot tracker. Re-install app. Open app. Verify notification and permission settings. Sync and turn m on blue tooth when prompted.

I thought this would scrub all traces and let me start with a clean slate. But, still nothing. Help!!

Hello @Ecditamore

Is it possible that you mistakenly turned on your DND (do not disturb) Mode or your Sleep On? You will not receive any notifications if these are on. If not this article is full of troubleshooting tips for notifications issues: https://www.myhealthyapple.com/fitbit-notifications-fix/

if your an Android user:

  • Ensure the Fitbit app runs in the background by going to Apps & Notifications > Fitbit app and turning off Background restrictions or Background limits.
  • Check that the Fitbit app is installed on your phone’s internal storage and not on an external SD card or other storage. The Fitbit app does not consistently work when installed on an SD card.
  • Turn off battery optimization and limitations.
    1. Go to Apps > Fitbit app > Advanced > Battery > Battery optimization.
    2. Change the view to All apps.
    3. Search for the Fitbit app and choose Don’t optimize (or not optimized.) Also check: Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications > Notifications on lock screen and set to Show conversations.

If your an iPhone user:

  • Go to Settings > Notifications > Messages and turn on Allow Notifications.
  • Then, checkmark Notification Center, Lock Screen, and Banners
  • Change the Shows Previews setting to Always or When Unlocked.
  • Use Banner Style > Persistent (default is temporary.)
  • Repeat for the Fitbit app, the Phone app, Calendar app, and any other app that you want to see notifications for on your Fitbit.
  • Finally, confirm that Share System Notifications are on via your phone’s Bluetooth settings > Your Fitbit > System Notifications.

😃 Hopefully this helps.

Hello again @Ecditamore

I’m sorry that didn’t help. Do you by chance have your Charge 4 connected to two mobile devices (like your phone and maybe an iPad)? If so it can cause conflict. Just a thought
