Not recording my runs!

All of a sudden my Fitbit is not recording my runs and it loses my run during the workout! I choose the "run" function on the watch, and the screen of my watch will appear with the running stats. But then after about 30 seconds, it goes back to a normal screen with just the time. When I check my phone later after my run, it has 'auto-tracked' the run on the app, but I prefer the "run" function on my watch where I can see all the stats during my run! Please help!

Could you be accidentally hitting the button with your sleeve?

No it is no accident happening. It happens whenever I use Bluetooth headphones, the run mode on my watch will disappear after 30 seconds.

   I contacted customer support of my phone (pixel 3), who said the problem is something with the Fitbit.

Yes that is true, others have mentioned this.. But no one has mentioned which phone platform. 

Your original question made no mention of this being related to headphone use on your unknown phone. 

Sorry but starting off by saying, "All of a sudden my Fitbit isnt" when it really should be, "When I cnect my Bluetooth headphones to my Galaxy S8 my runs are not being recorded with GPS". 

This one sentence would have given the reader all the info needed to understand what is not happening plus how to reproduce the problem. 

Sorry to cause an upset maybe I should have started a 20 question game to ascertain the symptoms. It might have taken a few days

The Charge 2 during the walk does give you the status of the GPS.

I did not give that information in the beginning because I did not know about the connection to the headphones until yesterday. I was going to edit it but I cannot so I think I have to delete it and start over. 

While I appreciate you reading these questions there is no reason to be condescending to people
