Notifications going between on and off and can't use the Fitbit

My fitbit has started displaying the notification screen and won't come off it it constantly changes it to on and off and it vibrates all day, I can't get off the notification screen any suggestions

That sounds like the button may be stuck in (if you press and hold the button on the Charge 2 it toggles notifications on / off).

The button dosnt seem stuck in although when I hold the button in it changes to the clock for a very short time then changes back to notifications

That sounds more broken than stuck. I think your best option would be to contact customer support. They can check your warranty status and advise on your options. You can get them via contact.fitbit.com
