Notifications on Charge 2 only shows sender's name

I only show the sender come through on my Fitbit when receiving a text message and not the scrolling of the actual content of the message. I have this selected also. I've restarted and nothing works. Please fix this bug.

I just received a couple texts that actually showed up on my fitbit as well.

Something was finally fixed it appears.

I was one of the people that installed the old version of the app which allowed me to see my texts. Well last night I noticed that it hadn't synced in about 4 days. It said I needed to do a firmware update. Well in order to do that I needed the latest version of the app. So after dealing with it for over an hour because the Bluetooth in my tracker wasn't connecting with my phone properly I eventually got everything downloaded and installed. Now I'm back to square one not being able to see my texts.

Still got the same issue.  Message notifications now only show senders name or number.  Content of message does not show.  Was a useful function.  Very disappointed.   Had hoped this would be resolved by  now.

I'm glad some are getting their notifications back. I have no change still. Honestly, I'm used to it now since there hasn't been any change in now almost 2 months. But I'd LOVE for it to be fixed anytime soon....

So I did a firmware update a few days ago to 22.22.58.0The notifications started showing up today. Maybe the firmware fixed it, maybe a coincidence. All updates on App and device taken to date. I have a Samsung S8 which is on the compatible list. Seems the updated version of Samsung software is beyond Fitbit support.   I reported this many months ago.  Even the Support team at first didn't know about the conflict.   Spent ages on the phone with very helpful lady installing and installing App  and making sure all up to date.  When all failed she asked a level up who told her they knew about the problem. Got the impression that no immediate plans to try to resolve this. Why had the front line support not been advised?  My time and hers wasted that afternoon.   Get the impression that no real interest in sorting Charge 2 problems.   Would rather sell us a Charge 3!  Our family all have Fitbits this is my third since 2013.  Becoming obvious Fitbits are not built to last and company not helping their customers in a timely fashion. 

Caller notifications back but now sometimes showing wrong caller name.   Text notifications now show sender name but not the message.

Well, they did something because I just got a text and was able to see the text on my charge 2! Anyone else? I mean, it took way too long to fix but I'm glad its finally fixed. Hope everyone else got theirs to work! 🤞

Mines still not working right, and now my fitbit tells me one person is calling but it's not the actual person that's calling.🤦‍:female_sign:

To my surprise this morning, my texts are appearing on my Fitbit! I almost fell over!

I spent the week going back and forth with support for an answer and was only offered a discount on a new device with out guarantee that would fix the problem. 

They had be do all the steps to fix multiple times, without success. But looks like a firmware update on Fitbit's side may have fixed the issue.

HOORAY!! Hope everyone here sees a fix!🤞

Mine doesn't show anything at all now! Arg! I think the app updated yesterday and now I don't even get the name! Notifications are on... reinstalled app... repaired... nothing. :'(

Mine is working again after I did the current update in the google play store.  It shouldn’t have taken this long to come up with a solution!
