I only show the sender come through on my Fitbit when receiving a text message and not the scrolling of the actual content of the message. I have this selected also. I've restarted and nothing works. Please fix this bug.

Ive tried ALL of the steps twice. Even did a system reset on my iPhone, like i had to do when the ios 13 update was installed and i still don't get notifications in my Fitbit charge 2. I don’t even get a notification of who’s calling or texting, so now what can i do? Should i just but an Apple Watch and be done with FitBit?
Thank you

Sorry to ask because you may have already mentioned this, but what kind of phone do you have? Mine is an iPhone and i cannot receive any notifications on my charge 2 either. When the new ios update came (13) i had to reset my whole phone to manufacturer settings. Apple just did another ios update and i did everything this forum suggested AND reset everything, again and the notifications still don’t work. Im seriously considering giving up on Fitbit and going with an Apple watch. At least Apple has an actual store where i can go to and have a human help me😁

I have a Google pixel 3xl. The only thing keeping me to Fitbit is the long battery life. I just can't beat 4 days compared to every other watch I've looked into that is a day if you're lucky. But their customer service is horrendous! If I had an apple though, honestly I'd probably make the switch to the apple watch but I don't know what the battery life is like on those. I'm just worried that even if I upgrade to a newer Fitbit, I may still not get notifications!

In my own investigating this morning, I've discovered something. So yesterday I was advised by Fitbit to (once again) uninstall and reinstall the app. I did that and the app looked very different. I gave it all the full permissions and set it all up again and the notifications started working. Then this morning, I didn't get my text messages again. 🤦:female_sign:. So I looked into the app permissions in my phone settings under notifications and my phone had pushed SMS and calendar into the "deny" section. On its own!! I hadn't restarted my phone or done an update so I don't know why it's done this. Once I changed it back to "allow" it worked again. So I can't say it's all due to the Andriod 10 update because iOS is doing it too, but check if your phone is doing that too! It's bizzare. I mentioned this to Fitbit in their ongoing investigation with me.

Mine has been fine and now it's off again. My phone just required an update and not my bluetooth doesnt recognize my fitbit. AMD it's odd because sometime it automatically recognizes my car and will pair to it but then not to my Fitbit at all. So as of now my fitbit is not receiving notifications yet again
