Old notifications showing on the Fitbit app

Does anybody know why my notifications are showing from april 2018 went on charge 2 this morning and suddenly its showing loads of old ones when there were only 3 yesterday from february , stating what steps l did over or under dont understand why all these old ones have suddenly appeared

@SunsetRunner  Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry to hear that you are seeing old notifications. Where are you viewing these notifications (on the Charge 2 itself or on the app)? If it is on the app could you share a screenshot? Have you updated your Fitbit app recently? Which phone are you using?

Hi the notifications start from the 23 feb 2019 and go back to april 2018 they only appeared a couple of days ago, it is the fitbit app and it is on the samsung galaxy j5 it as been working ok and then l notticed all the old notifications . It is the charge 2  how do l update app Thanks

I have still not found out why these notifications have suddenly appeared on my fitbit from over a year ago it is very annoying how they can suddenly appear page after page it just does not make any sense and l cant seem to get any help to find out any help would be appreciated
