I have notifications going back to may last year and not receiving any new notifications? The notification tab has a red dot as if they have not been read?

Sorry to hear that your notifications are still showing on your app. Try logging out from the app, restart your phone and then log back in. If you have an Android device please go to settings > apps > Fitbit and clear cache there.

I am having the same problem and red light comes on but no new message.last notification under notification and messge was June 18th but it does flash up on screen to say I have hit my steps target

I am having the same issue on the iPhone X and no, hard or sort resetting the iPhone isn’t working! Grr

Still doesn’t work guys! Anybody know what’s going on or if it’s a FITBIT app problem? The customer support people are saying it’s my problem and they are asking me to delete my app (done a few hundred times already), restart the phone etc. Heck I even bought a new Fitbit charge 3 and they are asking me to restart my device! Grr. Come on Fitbit. What gives?! NO NEW NOTIFICATIONS, most latest one for me is in june 2018. It’s january 2019 now.

My wife’s Fitbit app works fine btw! LOL it’s just some of us. I think, I really think, it’s a database issue on Fitbit’s end. Look! Apparently I walk 57,000 steps a day! Swear to god I’m NOWHERE near that. Seriously getting 10,000 is a big WOW for me. Hahaha

Please keep us posted! I had this issue with my Charge 2 and I have just upgraded to the 3 and they're still stuck 😞 The most recent one is June last year lol I also get the **ahem** red dot like I am not checking them and it makes my OCD cringe...
Let's hope they figure it out soon

They are not doing anything about it because it’s not a big deal. Only a small number of us are affected and we haven’t blown this up on social media. I will give them another month before I blow this up on social media.

Thank for updating! Sad that the response is basically a “Sorry not sorry”. I had the same kind of response when I found out after buying the new watch that no major banks in the UK suppor fitbit pay. The pay function was the main reason why I upgraded and it was said somwhere in tiny print that not all banks had it. When asked if they were going to add any actual big banks (the ones there who knows them) they said we are constantly improving blah blah blah. Same as saying nothing. Hopefully a lot of people end up with notification problems and they are forced to fix it. Fingers crossed!

same here, my notifications are 2 years old, no new ones and they won't go away, I got a new fitbit and they are still showing up....ugh so annoying, why isn't there a simple swipe and delete feature
