I just bought a Charge HR that has never been open. The box was still sealed and when I plugged it in a battery with an exclamation point flashed on the screen. The back light flash a couple times and the stopped. The app on my phone and the dashboard on my computer both say it is fully charged but just to make sure I left it on the charger all night. I've done hard resets and turned my phone on and off but the screen does not show anything and the HR senor does not work. I know the screen works - the version displays when I do a reset, and the pairing code comes up.

Hi @GregM88 the Charge HR is an older version of the newly released Charge 4. Not sure where you can find a new one sealed in a box. Did you get it from an authorized retailer? It's entirely possible that it had a dead battery for so long that it's having problems.

I was able to find one on Mercari. I actually just finished chatting with a fitbit rep and they did everything they could but they think it's defective, so they're sending me a new one since it's still under warranty.
