Out of zone

Hi, I have a fitbit charge 3 and go walking every day at a fast rate, so when I click on the exercise part on the app it always says I'm out of zone for 35 mins or so. Can someone tell me what this means? I thought as I'm walking constantly my heart rate would either stay the same or go up depending if its hills or something..

Thanks 🙂

'Out of zone' refers to the time your heart rate is below the fat-burn heart rate zone; i.e. less than 50% of max heart rate.

Thanks for your reply.

How can it drop that much if your doing something?

I have no idea how long your walks are so don't know how significant 35 minutes are.

You would have to look at the graph and see when you heart rate is out of zone; is at just at the start as you are getting warmed up?  at the end as you are cooling down? at places where you are walking downhill?
