Pace and distance on Charge 3 or on the phone?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Dear all,

Before buying I am trying to find out whether the Charge 3 displays info like pace and distance on it's own display or do I have to look at my phone display (which is supplying the GPS function - I know)

Kind Regards

David

Thanks for stopping by @DavidNortonTrack specific exercises—such as run, bike, swim or weights—with the Exercise app on Charge 3 to see real-time stats, including heart-rate data, calories burned, and elapsed time, and a post-workout summary on your wrist. For complete workout stats, and route and pace information if you used GPS, review your exercise history in the Fitbit app.

Note: The connected GPS feature on Charge 3 works with the GPS sensors on your nearby phone.

See my images below, you can find this (and all the information about Charge 3) in the manual by clicking here. The pages below are 36-37.

Connect Fitbit Charge 3 with your phone’s GPS to see real time pace and distance on-screen during outdoor runs and rides, and use your stats to get better each time.

For example, for a bike activity you'll see:

  • Distance
  • Speed
  • Elapsed time

Let me know if there's anything else I may assist you with.

If you are racing and you want to set a pace for a specific time and distance how would you do that? For example, if I was running a 5k at 25 minutes, how would I figure out what pace I would need, aka would it tell me I needed to go faster or I was at the right pace to get that time on a 5k? I am sorry for being confusing it is hard to explain what I am getting at.
