Pairing of Charge 3 and I-Phone XR

I now have 3.26 on my Fitbit and 13.5.1 on my XR. Recently I have noticed that my Charge 3 loses its pairing with the XR and then have to go back and forth to pair the two.

I don’t have this problem with my Apple Ear pods as these pair with my XR instantly.

Can the problem be fixed or am I the only one having this problem with constantly having to pair the Charge 3 to the XR.
