Pairing problem between Galaxy A40 and Charge 2 hr

Hi All,

 

I would appreciate if somebody give me some tip or idea how can I pairing the Fitbit charge 2 with Galaxy A40 phone.

1.I revoked all phone access.

2. I reset the charge 2

3. Installed fitbit app, switched on BT on the phone

4. The phone listed the charge 2 in BT device list

5. I added device in the app, selected the proper model and it found

6. Shown me the device the four digits number

7. I typed the four digits number correctly in the fitbit app

8 Always shown me

''Not working?'

- make sure the tracker is charged and turned on (of course turned on and charged)

- if there are other trackers nearby, move them away (no other trackers)

- turn off BT on your mobile device, then turn it on again (I did this)

 

I tried more times, how can I resolve this?

Formerly the fitbit device works well with other phone what I reseted.

Exactly the same issue with my new A40. Tried all yesterday and today. Unpaired, restarted. Done all the advice and tips numerous times.

Code comes up on fitbit, I type it in, then says I can't pair. So frustrating!!

Hi

The problem what I mentioned become seams resolved.

I did the following.

1. revoke the assignment of all devices on the fitbit website below mz account.

2. installed the fitbit app on other phone in mz case on the Galaxy S8

3. Began the pairing process as the user manual describe

4. Come the big surprise it was success.

5. I logged out in the fitbit app on galaxy s8 and uninstalled the app

6. revoke the assignment below mz account of ditbit website

7. Logged out and Uninstalled the fitbit app on my galaxy A40 and reinstall it again and logged in

8. Began again the pairing process on my galaxy A40

9. Come another big surprise, the paring process was succeeded.

 

Unfortunately the success is incomplete, because I noticed the device is unable to synch.

'Fitbit Sync Service - Last Synched: Unavailable'

I unable to resolve this problem.

 

Phone: Galaxy A40

Android version 9

Fitbit Charge 2 firmware version 22.22.58.0

Same issue here.  I have this problem everytime they do an update. 

I've tried everything everyone suggested. Nothing works at all. Tracker is basically worthless without data!

same issues here been trying for 3 days now - tracker is now useless unless fitbit are going to upgrade it!!!

Exactly same issue. Mine has not synced since October when I got a new phone. Very frustrating

Same here. Connecting to a computer works, but not to a Galaxy A40
