Pairing with samsung galaxy a8

Ok, lengthy message but here goes, had a fitbit feb, worked great with phone then it just lost connection, they sent out a new one but it wont pair with my phone says it's the bluetooth, anyone else had this problem ???

Let me help you setting up your Charge 2 with your phone. You can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

I'm so ready to through the towel in, I've only had this phone for a year and have another year left to go. I have tried all of what was suggested and then I got my husband to try it incase I was doing it wrong. 

Nothing has worked and it's still not connecting to the car so its definitely the bluetooth that's at fault , is there anything else I try before contacting O2 ???
