I synced the phone and the fit bit, notifications are on both the Apple 8S and the fitbit, blue tooth is on the phone and I can see the fitbit there in the listing. But no notifications are coming through the fitbit.

I have been having a similar problem. It just stopped working. When I was talking to a family member tonight she asked if my Notifications were on. Well, it turns out they were not on. Somehow I turned them off. So, just press the button on the side and hold for a couple seconds. It will tell you if your notifications are "on" or "off". Hope this helps.

My Fitbit stopped syncing after I updated my iPhone 7 Plus with the latest iOS update and after I backup my phone on my laptop as I got an iPad for Christmas and in order to transfer everything I had to do the backup from the laptop. I called Fitbit and they opened a case for me but haven’t heard a peep from them since. My kids bought me this Fitbit last year for Christmas and I’m not even sure I could return or exchange it now IF Fitbit doesn’t fix the issue. I use it at work to receive text and phone call messages because I can not have my cellphone on me and now it doesn’t sync it’s worthless other than counting my steps. Very disappointed as I wanted a Fitbit so badly.

I am having a similar issue with my Charge 2 and my Iphone 8. The first part of December I stopped getting notifications on my fitbit on Text Messages. Phone Call notifications are still working. I have been corresponding with Fitbit Support via a chat and twitter and I keep getting the run around. Check this that and then turn around and do it all again. They say that they are working on it, but wont give me any time line on what they are going to do. Like many of you I depend on getting the texts on my Fitbit. I am extremely frustrated with this "wait and see" process. I believe that they are waiting for my good for nothing warranty to be up. Sorry for the vent, but I expected better from them.
