Plastic residue from band stuck on clamp

Hi Folks,I removed my old Fitbit band and tried to replace it with a new one. The new one won’t attach because there’s still residue from the old band on the clamp. I’ve tried rubbing alcohol, tweezers and even my fingernail, and nothing will remove it so I can’t reattach the new band. Any suggestions please?

Hi LZeeW

I used all natural nail polish remover on a cotton swab which loosened it. I then was able to remove it with a pair of tweezers.

Hi @TeacherLaur    Can you add a screenshot?  This site usually won’t let you include a screenshot with your first post.  You should be able to add one now.  It might help.
