The whole trope about messages deleting after 30 days is total BS. I still have messages showing up from Dec 2018 that I would like to delete. I get random notifications that I have a new message and it's still the old messages just popping up as new.
I have changed phones and gotten a new fitbit and the messages still show up on my app. So logging out and back in does nothing.
I have seen tons of requests for this option, WHY WON'T YOU ALLOW IT?!

In the Charge 3. Scroll to the end of the list and tap clear all, or restart the tracker.

That only deletes notifications on my tracker. I am referring to messages sent between fitbit friends in the app itself.

Sorry, thirds board is for Charge 3 hardware issues. I didn't realize that the Fitbit app was the issue. You may want to vote for the suggestion, since the request is beyond what a user could help with.
