My Fitbit app randomly has changed my last 6 recorded exercises, which previously were correct, and changed the calories. Now it shows the calories as equal to the number of minutes eg 27 min workout shows 27 calories burned when it's should be more like 160.
I'm using a Charge 2 on Google Pixel 3a.
I've restarted the app and phone but no joy. Any idea what is going on?

This is happening with my Charge 3 also. Missing exercise, Mis recording calories burned etc. it appears to have started on Jan 24, as prior to this is recorded well. I’ve restarted mine a few time - no joy. Went for a 1 hour run yesterday and it recorded correctly at 700 calories and the distance, today it’s showing 19 minutes and 37 calories burned!?

Yep, same here on my Charge 4. My last two treadmill sessions are showing up incorrectly. Feb 3 shows as 45 calories burned when it should have been 372 (59 minute workout). Feb 6 shows as 42 calories burned when it should have been 310 for 56 minutes. There is simply a blank where my average bpm for the workouts should be. Today's workout is currently showing as 333 burned, but I fully expect that will change tomorrow.
This is all on my dashboard.I have no idea at this point how my weekly calories are affected. I thought it was just a one-time glitch, but quite obviously that is not the case.

Came here to look for an answer for the exact same question! I have a Charge 4 and the data from Feb 1-5 have just disappeared (both on app and on the website). Previously, all the data for Feb 1-5 recorded and displayed correctly, but since yesterday the 'steps' and 'distance' show N/A, the 'heart rate' log, 'map' and 'pace' are missing altogether, and calorie burn is ridiculously low (like 30cal for 40min run). I had logged and/or tracked elliptical, run, walk and bike in those days and ALL are missing. No amount of restarting and logging on / off have solved the issue. What kind of a sick joke is this?

Unfortunately, exactly the same is happening with my Charge 4. My husband's Charge 5 does not seem to have this issue. I am now wondering if this is Fitbit's way of ''getting rid'' of older model trackers and forcing us into buying new ones...

Been on the chat support all afternoon - nothing fixes it. Deleted and reinstalled the app, and the tracker three separate times. All the ‘rubbish’ is still there. It also appears to be recording walks - say a 37 minute walk, and assigning 25 calories to it … and no steps! A 37 minute walk with no steps 😂. It’s also recorded an ‘aerobic workout’ tonight … when I watching TV! …. It’s gone bonkers.

Flasheart, lol! 😂 Mine hasn't gone quite that crazy yet, but it's coming, i suppose. I'm planning on watching a movie tonight, so i guess I'll prepare myself for the Fitbit logging a bike ride or something during that time. 🤪

I have a charge 2 that is working, but the app and some aspects of the web dashboard record nothing new, have deleted my sleep data, and records some really screwy data on occasion. Wrist fitbit and app data do not match and will no linger sync.I have repeatedly uninstalled and reinstalled the app, turned bluetooth off and on many times, etc. The clues I'm picking up are that switching to Premium will allow me to see this data. No way for me. I ordered an Apple watch and am going to donate my fitbit. Good while it lasted.
