Hi,
Set up my Charge 3 yesterday and found that it had problems syncing. After a while I decided to start all over and reset the device on my phone.
Now the problem is that it keeps saying that the tracker can't be connected to my phone (whilst it was no problem yesterday). These are the steps I've taken:
- Tracker is in charger
- Bluetooth is on
- My phone is compatible
- The tracker is found
- I enter the code correctly
- After entering the code, it keeps saying "Try again, not working"
Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks!

I tried every suggestion I could find as I was having trouble pairing with both my iPad and my Samsung 7 phone. In the end I started a ‘Live Chat’ and I’m very pleased to say my Charge 3 is now paired with both my iPad and phone again. For some reason the Charge 3 hadn’t updated. I would strongly recommend doing the same if having problems of any kind. I found the agent very supportive and helpful

Thank you, but since it won’t connect, I don’t know version the firmware is. When try to setup, it says tracker recognized, but never makes the Bluetooth connection. And, I have tried turning it it off. Rebooting phone, turning it back on & rebooting again. Really frustrated.

Yep - same thing. I updated to the new operating system on iphone 8, rebooted the fitbit numerous times, turned off/on bluetooth, continued to get the same thing. Cleared user data and it connected but now it says "Looking" and that the device doesn't exist. I also have a ton of horizontal lines on the actual tracker. I feel like Fitbit is losing quality in their devices. My first band lasted 3 years where this was bought in august of 2019 = and it is now may 2020.
